It's here... kinda


THE PLAYTEST IS REAL!!!!!

I don't even know where to start with all the stuff that has been added or changed. There's a pause-ish menu now, music is actually in the game now, a COMPLETE rework of the level management and damage system on the backend, and random item generation. 

More than anything this was me facing the consequences of my own actions. I should have built the damage and level management system differently from the start... But I didn't! Oh well, now all damage is handled by a single system that allows the player to actually have invincibility after a hit. It also means that the dash can now be invincible. So that's neat. 

OH... and there's more levels and a double-sized platformer level now.  That was annoying to make because apparently, I made walls and floors completely separate things, so making a floating block with sides that act like walls and a top that acts like a floor wasn't going to happen. And it still doesn't! Instead, I just made it all a wall and manually placed floor hitboxes slightly above the tops of the blocks. If you look closely, you'll see that the player just kinda floats one pixel above the blocks in the platformer level.  

Really, you just have to try it yourself. Then send me your feedback with the Google form on the page. 

I'll try my best to implement your ideas and criticisms into the next version. I'd also like to add some lore elements in the next version. Nothing too fancy, just some notes on the wall or stuck to dead bodies. But, I have a feeling that I'll be swamped with feedback and bug fixes pretty soon, so lore notes might have to wait.
